7th June 2009
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: horrible chop then smooth
Air Temperature: 14
Sea Temperature: 13
Weather: hazy sun
Max Speed: 24.7 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 46.8+ (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Around mid-day Chris was out on 5.7m so rigged 6m whilst others went for 6.5mish which would have been better if I had one. Sea was a horrible mess for first 2 hours and I fell in a lot. Better over at the Golf for smoother swells but a bit of a wind shadow. Sea gradually smoothed and became better with wind filling in at Golf to make riding swells nice for another couple of hours. About 10 out having fun. Planed most of the time but a bit underpowered to make it more than 3*, with a 6.5m or a bit more wind would have been at least 4*. Tried a bigger fin for mote bite but not much difference, which was interesting as it helps wind with tide but apparently not when it's simply not enough wind against tide. GPS packed up for a while so sailed further than measured. Board getting spongy and repair starting to carck up so eBAY here I come.
